Arafat is a prospective graduate student appointed as a Teaching Assistant after receiving my bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the International Islamic University Chittagong in 2022. Previously, He worked as a Research Assistant under Dr. Md Shafiullah’s (KFUPM) supervision. He has also served as a Data Analyst Associate at Catalyst Solutions, analyzing market research data for global companies, In addition to his educational and research endeavors, he also worked as an Intern at GEMCO. During this time, he gained valuable insights into distributed transformer manufacturing, planning, designing, and maintenance. He has participated in several scientific conferences, contributed to prestigious academic journals, and so forth.

  • Smart load demand scheduling and operation under uncertainty
  • Control and optimization
  • Integrating deep neural learning techniques in control operation

Feb 15, 2024 Thrilled to announce our new publication in the Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering (AJSE) — a Reputable Journal! 📰✨ Our article, “Techno-Economic Assessment and Environmental Impact Analysis of Hybrid Storage System Integrated Microgrid,” stems from my bachelor thesis. We explored the impact of integrating hydrogen energy with hybrid distributed generation, optimizing costs and reducing greenhouse emissions using the Carbon Taxation law in two cities. Download PDF
Jan 30, 2024 During my time as a graduate teaching assistant, I had the chance to collaborate with a professor on optimizing energy consumption in smart homes. We focused on load scheduling approaches to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Our work, guided by Dr. Asim Ullah (Fundded by FSE, Dept. of EEE, IIUC), was published in IET Power Electronics, 2024.
